Other memories:
The noise of him chewing from across the table, barely audible but so Grandpa.
The ONE coffee cup he always used with the stained inside... I think he just rinsed it.
HIS place at the dining table, and his seat in the family room.
Those short afternoon naps he would take on the floor, no pillow, in the front room of Gingerville... sometimes all sweaty from working outside in the yard.
If you're not there at least 5 minutes early, you're late!
That look he gave with his eyebrows raised and wide-open eyes, mouth pursed together.
How proud he was of all of his children and grandchildren.
